Age, Lesson Length and Rate Chart
(Dispatch, Online and Buzzy’s Club)
All Second Visit English lessons are once per week, on a prearranged day and time (excluding holidays in either the teacher’s home country or the student’s home country) Rescheduled lessons will take place on the sequential lesson day. After a 3 lesson theme set, there will be a two-week “break” before starting the next set of lessons. The lesson time is 30 minutes, depending on the child’s attention span.
All lesson rates outside of Japan, are based on the exchange rate with the Japanese yen for the first lesson day of the three lesson set. This can fluctuate, depending on global exchange rates. When a new lesson set begins, the rate once again will be based on the Japanese exchange rate for that first lesson day.
You will receive a pay request from PayPal after the third lesson is completed. For Dispatch lessons, your teacher’s transportation costs can be paid to the teacher in person, after each individual lesson.

To the Parents or Students…
- For our Dispatch lessons, please have a designated area for the lessons. Children under 7 usually like to dance during lessons, so please prepare a safe area for this. Parents or guardians of children under 12, are requested to accompany or be in the vicinity during the duration of the lesson, if possible.
- For our online lessons, please remember to have a good PC or laptop computer, with good wifi or internet connection!! Second Visit English is not responsible for unreliable internet or wifi connection. Parents or guardians are requested to accompany children under 12 during the duration of the lesson, if possible.
- For Buzzy’s Club lessons, please have yourself, child or children at the lesson location, at least 5 minutes before the lesson starts. Parents or guardians are requested to stay at the lesson location with children under 12.
- If the internet or wifi service fails during a lesson, the lesson time will stop at the point the connection was lost, and resume when the connection returns. Your Second Visit English teacher will note when the connection stops.
- There will be a waiting period of up to twenty minutes, for the connection to return. If the connection returns within twenty minutes, the lesson will continue as normal.
- If the connection does not return within twenty minutes for Age 4+ lessons, the remaining lesson time will be added to the next lesson, making it an extended lesson, at no extra charge.
- If the connection does not return within twenty minutes for Age 0~1 and 2~3 lessons, the remaining lesson time will be divided evenly among the remaining lessons of that theme set, at no extra charge.
- If you do not purchase a new theme set, but still have lesson time owed to you, your Second Visit English teacher will still make up the lessons for no extra charge, but the lesson time may vary, according to your teacher’s schedule.
- If students of different ages or learning abilities are together in the same lesson, there will be different levels of content taught in the lesson.
- Parents or students can pay, either by Paypal or Bank Transfer (in Japan, Mizuho or Sumi-Mitsui Banking Corporation; from other countries, Paypal)
- All payments must be made within 1~3 days after the lesson set is completed. You will receive a payment request soon after the third lesson is completed. We cannot schedule the next theme set of lessons until you have paid for the finished lessons. Please do not pay in advance.
- For Dispatch lessons, an additional fee for round-trip public transportation is needed in addition to lesson fees.
